RAID controller with cache

A RAID controller with dedicated cache memory that buffers write operations and, with battery or supercapacitor protection, preserves the cached data on power loss.

For RAID 5, 6, 50 and 60 arrays and write-heavy workloads, write-back caching greatly increases performance.

Higher write performance, faster array rebuilds and features such as encryption and SSD caching.
